List the Resources that are needed to deliver or enhance teaching and learning of the objective in column 7. This can include, but not be limited to, manipulatives, handouts, websites, computer software programs, audio-visual media, and guest speakers. These websites may give you additional ideas of what to include.
Student Learning Activities, in essence, provide a name or title to how the resources were used to enhance teaching and learning. While resources could be seen as the 'how', learning activities are the 'what'. Student learning activities can also take on the form of projects and other types of assessment (see #3 below). Include these items in column 8. Any activity that supports Problem Solving should be included.
Identify the Assessment that will be used to determine student mastery in column 9. It is important to have an assessment that aligns with the language of the objective. Various forms of assessment include such methods as individual and group tests, authentic performance tasks, portfolios, journals, interviews, and extended projects. The NeSA-Math State Test will measure an array of selected Standards and, with only a few assessment items per Standard, it may not be the most accurate measure of performance for individual objectives.
